I wish I had known that the Women’s Center offers workshops to educate students on sexual harassment.

I wish I had known that psychologists at Counseling Services can help with anything (relationships, stress, homesickness, depression, etc.).

I wish I had known that if I was sick, Yellow Cab Co. would drive me to Student Health and bill my account.

I wish I had known about all the healthy, positive activities and events sponsored by the Wellness Program.

I wish I had known to check the After Dark Calendar on Thursdays in the Daily Nexus for weekend late night activities.

I wish I had known that the Alcohol and Drug Program offers free and confidential tobacco cessation counseling and education.

I wish I had known that NOT locking my bike/my room/my apartment was just asking for trouble.

I wish I had known how important communication was for making my roommate relationship successful.

I wish I had known that there are hundreds of clubs listed at the Office of Student Life.

I wish I had known how fulfilling it feels to be involved in a political campaign march.

I wish I had known how many great job skills (that I could put on my resume) I would learn from part-time jobs and internships.

I wish I had known that getting a part-time job helps pay unexpected bills and not all campus jobs are for work study students only.

I wish I had known that the annual deadline for financial aid applications (March 2) is much earlier than the deadline for taxes.

I wish I had known that small emergency loans are available through Financial Aid, Cashier’s Office, Alumni Association, OSL, and EOP.

I wish I had known that having a car makes you the one who is asked for rides or to borrow your car.

I wish I had known that the A.S. Bike Shop offers low-cost services and they will even show me how to fix my bike for free.

I wish I had known that there is such a thing as a BUI (Biking Under the Influence) and that it comes with a hefty fine.
